Hey all, excellent game you've got here.
10 hours in, and I've only really got one gripe: The Mobile Vehicle Bay.
My personal view of how valuable it is in game not-withstanding, as implemented it is a VERY confusing User Experience.
If you unlock it prior to having the patterns for the Seamoth or the Cyclops, it acts like it is bugged. You climb on, activate it, and there is no message, no menu, no indication that what you need are patterns to build with. Just feels like the thing is bugged. My first game, I built two and restarted several times, assuming based upon web searches that the item or the game instance was bugged. Nope, just hadn't found enough Seamoth parts.
This thing NEEDS to let people know it is missing something in order to work. Or, better yet, have it able to create SOMETHING on its own so that it is not utterly useless without the vehicle patterns.
I would ultimately prefer to have it folded in with the first vehicle pattern that you learn, or better yet, done away with in favor of the moon pool or a base armature. Failing those two, it really needs to better inform the player why it is not working AND have some value in and of itself aside from just facilitating two other patterns, in case people find it hours before figuring out how to find vehicle fragments and waste resources on one.
Thanks!

You can pick it up. Just get on top and look down at your feet. It takes up a 2x2 space and can be stored
