Therioes on why Marguiet wanted to abandon the land base [Spoilers]

I started a new world and went back to the floating island, and I started picking up abandoned PDA's. Why would marguiet be getting disturbed and want to go under water. Cave Crawlers? but there worse under water so what would they be afraid of?

She might just be crazy and/or maybe the bacteria in the water air (Degasi Voice Log #7) is having an influence.

There's also the artifact they found. Maybe it's to pursue the source because it might be a way off the planet.
