I've been seeing more and more threads where people have selected a higher than 1920x1080 resolution. This is totally breaking the game and without a way to revert back people are loosing the ability to play. At the very least give us some sort of "How To" to revert back to original resolution settings.
I'm more than willing to restart a game. Please see attachment to my steam thread and what I've done. Still broken at this moment.

To sum the link up read below.
I deleted the Subnautica folder and all related files after uninstalling the game through steam. Reinstalled the game over night, fired it up this morning and the resolution settings are still at 5760x1080.
Uninstalling the game and deleting the steam Subnautica game folder didn't work, I'll have to go through all the file folders I guess. Not sure what I'm looking for tbh.
Just documenting what I'm doing so far - Right click on Subnautica.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Selected "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" - Didn't resize resolution
Also selected "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" - Stayed in 5760x1080 no change
Installed RevoUninstallerPro - Deleted game - Run Scan - found a bunch of files - Deleted hidden files - Reinstalled game - Still stuck in 5760x1080 ........ sigh*
Set Launch Options
-w 800 -h 600 Didn't work
-autoconfig Didn't work
-console Didn't work
-dev Didn't work
Switching over to Experimental mode - No change - Will try more if I can find anything and post any updates. Open to suggestions.
Frustration took over and I needed to walk away, decided to vacuum the house and I had an idea. If the scaling isn't allowing me to see proper height why not put triple monitors in Portrait mode and turn my monitors to see the missing window? It worked.
Step 1: Selected NVIDIA Control Panel - Rotate Display - Portrait - Accept changed - Run game - Options - Resolution settings - Selected 800 x 600 - Accept Changes - Exit Game
Step 2: Selected Nvidia Control Panel - Rotate Display - Landscape - Accept changed - Run game - Game was extremely blurry hard to make out text - Options - braille around Resolutions settings till 1920x1080 - Accept changes
Step 3: Enjoy.

Conslusion: Take the ability to manipulate resolutions settings away from the user, this is early development and this option is bugged and should be locked until the kinks are smoothed over.
