Gorge spit buff

The low-dps associated with gorge being a support lifeform is completely fine, but isn't the projectile a bit too slow? I mean marines can easily dodge it from a distance.
Also what about giving it a ricochet ability so it can bounce off walls? The idea being to make gorges more interesting to play offensively while also adding new tactics.
