    Man alive... I'm having the same issue. It's in the Grassy Plateaus west of the spawn zone, right? Lags my game fiercely every time I go to visit the wreck near that area.

    Stuff like that happens when a floater is attached to it.... i attached one myself to one and it freaked out in a similair way. Fun to watch tho :) can go on for hours. and you can remove them if youre quick enough.
    I attached 2 to that whale like creature once... unfortunately one of the 2 went invisible so now that poor creature is still spinning :(
