Character stuck swimming in one direction. Lost forever.

I am sorry, I am not sure whether this is a bug or a glitch. Whatever this is, it is bad. And sad.

I pulled my character backwards away from a cave entrance in the Kelp Forest. He kept swimming backwards, so I guided him going up. It was not possible to control him again, the only movement he kept doing was swimming backwards.
He got to see the very back of the Aurora in ways I have never tried.

Sometimes i've falling thru floor in my base and getting stuck on a chest level (it happends after modifying base, removing/adding windows and airlocks). Command "Warpme" in console helps alot...

I’ve experienced this problem myself. Although, I haven’t run across it since the last (stable) update.

When I was experiencing this problem, I was able to fix it by double tapping the key corresponding to the direction I was stuck traveling in.
