Bug with MAJOR FPS related ! build 31140

Hy. I descover a "hidden" bug ! is related to code engine not with my rig. If you build let say about 150 pieces of coridorglass/coridor/etc (and a lot off us we build much more pieces of any kind (coridor/ L coridor / Glass coridor any piece), but when you connect (build) more than 150+ pieces together, for me let say the frame per second (FPS) is 75, when i build just 4 of VERTICAL CONECTOR and atach to 150+ pieces, the frame drop to 70, when i build +4 vertical conector , more 5 fps drop, and so one..so if you build let say 25-30+ vertical conector you will end with just 25-30 fps ! but if you deconstruct the vertical conectors, you will end up with the same fps , even if you restart the game, you will gain the fps (75fps) ONLY ! if you deconstruct ALL the pieces that you construct ( that with 150+ pieces). OK .. so now.. I made 300 pieces with coridor/glass/etc,everything, i got there 75 fps, so this time i wasn't build vertical connector, INSTED ! i came up from bottom to the surface (with over 100 vertical conectors) until i reach about 2-3 metres from the base with 300+ pieces and STILL HAVE 75 FPS !, Becouse 2 bases apart 10m+ from each other, is not counting that the second base is the same with first. And yes, afterwards i make 20 vertical conectors to the 300+pieces and voila fps drop to 45 !, So.. the problem here is the VERTICAL CONNECTORS when you atach them to a base with over 150 pieces. I monitoring with MSIafterburner and is not reaching the 50% gpu/cpu or ram when the fps drop to 25-30. Ok. i hope this will go to the ears of developers, and i hope that will make this "bug" TKS ! Until than if i want to go deeper and i have a base 150 + pieces and want to go deeper, i just come with the vertical conector from the botoom :).

O..i forgote to say that the 75 fps is capped with msi afterburner becouse i have 75 hz,it.s like vsync on. And when i have 75 fps the gpu is between 70%-99% and cpu 50-60% with all tho the max like quality lvl2, texture lvl4,lod max,all max. When i tested was all on low with gpu usage med 50% and cpu 30-35%. My spec gtx 660/intel5 3,8 mhz, 8 gb ram

    Hi

I too have drastic reduction in fps if I build a massive base.

I'm sure I saw on Trello a little while back that the devs are investigating a drop in fps when vary large bases are present. So I believe this bug is on the cards for rectification.

Belive me..i think is not the ideea of making large base,is just the VERTICAL CONNECTOR. I made a test today,i was building a base with all stuff, exclude the VERTICAL COBNECTOR, i think i use about 550 pieces, more glasscoridor, and i used to have between 55 and max 90 without vsync, but when i lower the load (that ho enable toview from far) i hade 70-105 fps.. and is normal becouse of cpu load, but when i make JUST 7 pieces of VERTICAL CONNECTOR the fps from 65 drop to 25! so i think this is kind of psihics code problem with those, and not a graphical or cpu related becouse the load on gpu and cpu stay the same when having 65 and than when having 25..

And i remember now, when i hade 550 pieces and make like 100 vertical conector and atach to it,the frame stays at 55-90, but when i put ONE multipropose room fps drop to 22!. i replicate the same actions but without the vertical conectors and put multipropose room the fps stay high 55-90.. so the vertical connector is bugy in related to multipropose room when having over 150 parts ofa base

I think this 2 parts is bugy when put together in a base with parts over 150, is doesn.t matter where you put them in a base

Subnautica is only supposed to render the immediate area around you, but what's happening with bases is that they keep rendering even when you aren't there; also when base sections are removed, CPU/RAM resources are not freed up.

    I think that's what's going on.

You are very true, but if the cpu/ram resources are not freed up,i will understand, but there is no more than 50-60% of ram/cpu usage. And how could the pc handle the 300 parts and have 75 fps, and when i build just another 15-20 vertical connectors fps drop to 20-25 ? and cpu/gpu/ram, espacially the gpu usage drop to 22-25% becouse fps is low. So i repeat my self, the bug it is somewhere with the vertical connectors. i know that,i testet over 3 hours and make replicates over and over and do everytime another way to understand what cousing the issue. So i found the problem - VERTICAL CONNECTOR- somewhere in the code engine/ psihicks.
