[BUG] Audio crackle, then completely goes away

Audio pops and crackles the first seconds into the game and completely goes away after the first "blackout" in the intro animation.
Using a HDMI connection to my Denon AVR X4000.
I have no issues with any other games (around 250 of them) or software, this is the only software that has ever given me problems with audio.
Will play without sound for now, hehe.
Other info :
Windows 10 x64
Sound (over HDMI) and graphics : GTX 970 and Denon AVR X4000 with a 3-speaker setup (L, mid and R).
Aaaaand ... that's all that's really relevant.
