Bug with disconnecting/mapchange while downloading mods

when disconnecting from a server while downloading mods or when the map is changing during the downloadprocess the non finished downloads don't stop or get cleared. instead they are running in the background and it doesn't seem they ever finish. when exiting the game it doesn't rly exit but in taskmanager (windows) it gets moved to background processes and still using the network and has to be killed manually (even steam thinks the game is still running showing u as ingame). even when the map is loaded fully after the mapchange during download it's still loading something in the background causing the ping to be enormous.
this happened with large mods like maps.

edit: obvsly i got a crappy internet connection (6Mbit) so this might not be so obvious with a higher bandwith.

That might be due to steam workshop downloading it in the background... I'll pass this on to see if we can't reproduce it
