hey I wonder repopulating dead zone devoid of fish changes anything. I'm trying to repopulate Kelp Forest, I bringing the fish back like Hoverfish, i'm wondering will the predator and other return when there prey.
Or will this be a waste of time. cause I can repopulate now cause of the large fish tanks.

I don't think the predators come back.

Update: you can breed predators and release them if you can find the eggs to start.

If you're not playing on a totally new game since the farming update, they might not be showing up

Otherwise you just have to take your seamoth out and go hunting in the various biomes for the eggs (keep in mind they take up 4 slots each so having extra storage is helpful). Most are easy to spot once you know what to look for. The only trouble is picking them up before the predators get you lol

They're small, round, and green and in the safe shallows/general kelp areas.
