Vertical connectors and Foundations

The game can make buildings look silly because the vertical connectors will not actually make contact with foundations but say they are attached. In addition the vertical connectors dont connect to the elbow base sections at all which makes me not use them.
On a separate note I have no idea why foundations do not snap to the top of base sections, and when you do place them they do not actually make contact with them but float instead.
Foundations and vertical sections should be able to attach to the multi-purpose room.
