[CRASH] while retreiving ingot from fabricator in escape pod, and turning to open locker [29160]

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5 on an early 2015 13-inch Retina MBP. 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, Intel Iris Graphics 6100 (1536 MB). External display is my familiar Apple Thunderbolt Display 27-inch (2560 x 1440).

Less than three hours into a new game with the new build, I'm turning from one thing (the fab) to the next (the locker) and the game stops responding. So I jiggle the mouse. Nope, still no response. So I hit F8. Nothing. F11. Nothing. Cmd-shift-3 makes a screenshot sound, that's good. But a few minutes later, still nothing. Machine is cool enough. And I wasn't running much in the background — one tab open in Chrome, maybe I had Keychain open, and Steam. Huh. Okay, how about we force-quit this thing. Cmd-opt-shift-esc ... nothing. Whaaaat.

Look in forums: nothing like this.
Tweet @subnautica and @flayra, text Flayra directly — he knows nothing about it, points me back to the forums and the steam page on troubleshooting. Fair enough. But of course, I can't check that everything is up to date because the game is frozen solid. (Checking now: yup, all up to date. Except Wunderlist and Evernote, both of which are a) shut and b) irrelevant.)

Having tried previously to find a log file on my Mac, and failed, and not heard anything back on that post, I'm not trying again right now. And since I couldn't force-quit this time, I didn't catch a nifty Apple crash-report like I did that time. But I'll link a "screenshot" taken with my iPhone. It even has a ghost-image of me as a reflection on my screen.

Oh, and that promising screenshot sound? Didn't produce an actual screenshot. Else I'd have given you *that* photo, rather than my janky iphone pic. So there's that too. :-/
