The game crashes, or rather Windows blocks its access to the graphics card, upon launching a new game. It happens on the loading screen just as the intro speech starts playing (and continues to play after crashing). This happens on all three graphics quality settings. Drivers are latest.
The game works fine with the "-force-d3d9" option.
