Making sea bases better or new items.

1. Docking bay for Cyclops - something similar, what Seamoth has with Moonpool - You drive into this area, it clamps (you need lets say some device on Cyclops what will makes connection - auto docking when pressed?) and you have direct link from bottom of your ship to any other pathway structure + it will charge my Cyclops.

2. No directional limited structures. Some parts are right now limited with only one direction. Take "T" shape corridor - you can only place it down one way, I want to move it around 90,180 etc.* degrees any direction.

3. More furniture items like tables etc.

4. Vertical connector what has ladder in it has no water on top level - that should be more fixed, than added. And ofc any movement with the ladder. So I can climb up and down.

5. More connected lights around the base... Floodlight is nice, but it does not look so amazing + it lights too much over large area, where smaller lights would be amazing.

6. Ability to place Bulkheads between structures even if there is no corridor added. For example place Multipurpose room next to Moonpool. You can't have Bulkhead middle of those 2 rooms. You need any Corridor for that.

7. When Current might be added , some energy device what makes energy how strong the currents are.

8. Elevator system. Yes Ladders are nice and yes you can make huge fish tank "elevator", but something what should do the job.

9. Multi placement tool. Example you want to put Small lockers on the wall, but your OCD kicks in when they are not lined up. Tool what helps you to... keep everything lined up.

10. Not much Base improvement, but related: Having tool what cuts down fauna around your base. Example... Have you ever tried to place anything in Kelp forest? Well I have... annoying how kelps just go through your structures. Only way to fix it is to place Foundation what removes Kelp, but same time can make square on the ground...

11. Structure Leg load bug to get fixed on placement of the structure. Game loads the base and your structure legs can go small and big. Why not have something static. When you placed structure it fixes with the potion and be static not trying to update all the time.

12. Better nuclear energy and reactors. We already have them, but the looks is meh, vs the ones what Aurora has. And also some control station what needs to be build in the Multipurpose Room.

13. When Sea Monsters vs Bases patch comes, then defensive systems not just Turrets, but Missile batteries.

14. Traps - ability to catch fishes not just by hand, but place traps around the base with bait and wait them to go into them - can only places anywhere next to bases.

15. I know this forces into realism, but pressure chambers. You just can't dive 300m and then surface instant and hope not to die on decompression.

16. Fire - We all have seen Aurora in Flames... maybe option to have fire in bases. Some any fire system "Sprinkler" ?

17 . I have my base inside the lava tube, I don't lie it looks scary to go down there, but some heat resistant glass or structure improvements. Making building bases into hot areas not so easy.

18. We all have seen map room photos. What about radar system room, what scans the area with using basic buoys. Some creatures close by.

19. Ability to close Moonpool bottom.

20. As Oxygen will be limited with Bases some air pipes with filtration system - machine. Like we have right now Water Filtration Device.

21. Over time some sea creatures starting to grow over the structure. Weakening it would be silly, but just by the looks it would be amazing.

22. Science-Lab : I like this all scanning animals, but scanning is not enough, some lab, what will increase your understanding around the planet/moon you on and gives you some paths. Example, you kill and catch Reaper... you take it back your base and use Lab to find out some material, what makes your suit stronger for facing even larger predators etc.

    YES this is the most frustrating thing ever. I have spend upwards of ten minutes trying to center a damn locker. IMO they should auto-snap to the black panels on the floor but can be overridden by holding shift.

    Yep, that FoV is also doing something really weird, because you have to be so close to the wall, the perspective gets distorted somewhat. Once you're done lining them up and it looks good up close, you take a few steps back only to see it being totally not lined up... RAGE++ :D

    Already discussed, many times. I'm sure this will be a thing, if not, there's a good reason for it.

    Oh you mean like the Q and E keys? Use google please if you can't figure it out for yourself. It is on the HUD, although granted it disappears after a few second of picking a rotatable object.

    Not without giving some idea of what the table's for.

    Ladder animations have been discussed. I don't get what you mean by no water on top level.

    I would revisit this one later, when the game's a bit more finished.

    Static fauna and flora, sure, I agree. +1

    This is just a bug, it'll be fixed no later than their polish phase.

    The reactor graphics are temporary. I agree with control station. +1

    So you can nuke them? I don't know if missile technology is feasible given the materials you've got. I don't really think it's necessary. The turrets will be balanced to be enough.

    They've played with this concept a bit. The console command 'nitrogen' toggles a nitrogen-based concept of draining health from pressure damage, but it's not brilliant. I suspect they might work on this later.

    I'm not sure anything would cause a fire, your base isn't exactly going to crash land. I would revisit this after release.

    I'm going to say maybe you take the blood or talon of a Reaper, not the reaper itself. You are not going to kill a reaper. But a body part sounds good.

    How about making easy changes of life, like starting with being able to color the outside/inside of your base/s as you like. Similar to what the submarine has ^^.

    He's referring to the bug where if you have a hab room half in the water and half in the air above sea level. Try building a room half out of the water and go inside and see for yourself

    I see, well that's being addressed too. It's not an easy one to fix, because of the way clip-boundaries work.
