In Seamoth, [E] key won't let me exit the vehicle. build 27408 Jan-2016

Once I enter the Seamoth vehicle, pressing [E] as instructed does not let me exit the vehicle (nothing happens). If I save the game and reload, I start back outside and can re-enter, but the issue does not change. I did some extensive key remapping when I was starting playing, but [E] is not an option to change, so I don't know of any other ways to trigger the exit.

When you rebind your key control in the Subnautica configuration launcher it does not reflect those changes to the UI in game, only input. In your case, the Use key is what is used as default for "E", check your Subnautica launcher for what the USE key is bounded it to and use that key. It is an issue with unity,

Any idea when this stuff is going to improve?...it's driving me nuts.

Figured it out, Logitech Gaming Software key-maps to my mouse buttons were interfering with key bindings in the Subnautica menu. Just needed to know what I was looking for. Thank you. you're right, it's a Unity issue I see every now and then.
