like some rather large or hostile creatures traveling from one biome to another biome it's native to but travelijng accross non native biomes to get there?
Technically there's already something like that. I've noticed that once the stalkers have eaten all of the peepers in the kelp forest they will gradually migrate through the safe shallows in search of more prey. But I agree, migration would be nice.
It would be scary to have packs of stalkers leaving the kelp forest together to roam other biomes (including safe shallows) starting on day 5. Could also surprise the player when they return to their home !
And it's probably already in the works but I mean on a larger scale with more and more of the hostile species doing it across vast distances on the subject of time though with that second comment imagine a sort of season system to base the migration on.
Unfortunately, SN is currently built only on events occurring within a limited radius (just beyond the visible distance) of the player. This means stuff like migration could really only occur while the player is around - which doesn't make sense as migration implies they are coming from somewhere else.
I would love to see a rudimentary simulation that occurs game-wide, outside of the player's view - which would support this, along with many other features. Alas, this is unlikely to occur.
