Crashing now, H20 update. Got to play for one day anyway, it was amazing.
It happens after i click Creative, the loading screen appears, then my graphics card;s fan dips for an instant, and then windows tells me Subnautica has stopped responding.

Output log + Dxdiag :: http://pastebin.com/tKBK6An5

I've tried :: ensuring everything seems up to date, closing everything else, the recommended d3d launch option, tiny and native and other resolutions, windowed and fullscreen, even overclocking the gpu; in many combinations; to no avail.

    Seems to be a general issue with a lot of people, including my game too.

    Hope a solution is found

    Pretty much the same issue for me. Whether I try to start a new game or update my save, a few seconds into the world load the game freezes and Windows closes it shortly after. :(

    There was a recent checkin update for AMD cards on the exp branch, could you go ahead and try the experimental branch out?

    Seems to work now, with the "-force-d3d9" launch option, stable on Recommended, fps drop in the vines on experimental graphics. 16x9. Game is beautiful. Can't stop. Thanks.

    The latest update to Steam should now allow you to play without the -force-d3d9 launch option.

    as of now, i can effectively play the game without the -force-d3d9 option whereas before i could not. it could be important to note that i play on the experimental version of the game, not sure if that works for the stable version.

    GPU : Radeon HD 6870

    Thank you devs!
