Cyclops Issues

So yesterday I saved my game on the surface driving my cyclops. The F1 console was open. When I returned, it was spinning uncontrollably and Ascending up. I checked the F1 console, it rose to 500m above the surface. Attempts to exit resulted in death. Does anyone know how to fix this?
