Walk Key

<div class="IPBDescription">does anyone ever walk?</div> there's a walk key in NS but I never use it. I use walk in CS to be quiet but in NS it's better to crouch walk or just run since I figure it's better to get to places quicker, and you're gonna die to a hidden skulk whether you walk or run. Anyways I bind the Caps Lock key to walk in CS, but NS doesn't recognize Caps Lock as bindable. Oh well no loss.

I walk as a skulk all the time if I am creeping up on a troop.

hmm I thought that crouch-running does the same silent walk. If walk is faster I might have to bind that to a key and use it.

Walk still makes quite a bit of noise for me as marine.

I walk as a skulk. I sometimes have to make a few minor adjustments before I leap down and start chomping on your head - mine as well do it silently 8^)

Caps-lock is bindable, you just can't do it through the gui. Pop open that mutha known as your console and do a: bind capslock +speed

However, I've found walking sort of useless... it doesn't mask your steps, but I've used it a few times in hopes of surprising a lone skulk or fade or something... sort of works.
