Cyclops pressure compensation upgrade not working

I recently applied the pressure compensation upgrade to my cyclops, and it isn't working. Even though it says that it has an upgraded warning/crush depth of 300/400m, respectively, it will start springing leaks well above the 400m depth. Are the actual numbers different than the reported numbers?

P.S. Running latest "regular" build.
