iMac Early 2009 (20inch)

Hello everyone

So I own an iMac Early 2009, the 20 inch one and I have considerably thought of being Subnautica but I am really afraid that my computer won't be able to support with at least 20 FPS, can someone tell me if its possible?

depends on what OS version; you need 10.9, and unless you have updated, you're going to have 10.5. So see if you have at least OS 10.9 (Mavericks)
As for the hardware, it's very edgy. Not sure what you're going to pull in terms of FPS with it, MAC's are not my specialty

I have Mac OS X 10.11.1, and I can really play games like Counter Strike or Call of Duty with smoothly-maxed out graphics

Ehhhhh, from what I could find the 2009 imac has a pretty abysmal core 2 duo at 2.66ghz, and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M which is a laptop graphics card that does really poorly in most games on any setting but low that combined with the wonky support for subnautica for mac and I'd say you're not going to have a good time.
