First of all. Thank you for your work.
So... I was on trello and i saw this particular vote.
This is my opinion: I love crafting in video game, i realy do, i love personalised my weapons, my vehicles, my home and made them my own. i love building huge base with a lot of different room, bedroom, laboratory, common room, living room etc... There is no point building a huge empty base. i love upgrade my weapons, made them more powerfull, i love upgrade my vehicles and made them faster and more resistent, more usefull, so go ahead, make me craft mechanical arm for (one of) my seamoth(s), make me craft power upgrade for my stasy rifle, make me craft bed's, table's, chair's and desk's for the hypothetical colon's.
If one of the purpose of the game is to make this planet livable, please give me the tools to do it.
Crafting give lifetime to a game, it give replay and exploration interest.
This is my point of wiew and i only speak for my selfe, but i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one thinking that way.
Again, thank you for all your work, your game is already amasing and really cool.

Comments
a) Doesn't require endless trips to a wiki to figure out (both how to build and use them), and
b) Adds useful/interesting abilities to the game (not a bunch of useless junk like so many crafting games do)
So far, I think SN has done a good job of doing this, given that late game stuff (e.g. from the lava zone), has yet to be built.
All in all they have done great work on the game. We can't possibly expect updates faster than we are getting them. Also for those with weaker computer's the need for performance updates is without a doubt necessary however for those of us with well build computers please add as much new content as possible for us to experiment with.
