Alien side of tutorial broken?

I just installed the game today, so i have to play the tutorial. Marine side went fine but once I got back to the ready room to join the alien team, every time i would walk to the yellow waypoint; a red symbol(im gueesing a dc symbol) on the left side of my screen would appear. I would then get teleported abt 2 seconds back. This occurs every time i get to the alien side of the tutorial.

Upon the fifth go through of the tutorial the alien side finally worked. Still not sure what caused the problem beforehand.
