Tier System

So I was playing Subnautica for the last few days and I'm angry at the fact that there aren't many ships to build, buildings to construct and not many items. While i get it that this game is still in Alpha and there's not much content, I still love it. I was fascinated at the world, music, sounds and this game didn't fail to deliver the spooks.

Not let's cut with the bullsh*t. A tier system would be pretty cool if we want to stay in the game for more that a few days. Imagine every submarine being tier 1 when you get it. When you build a moonpool, you should be able upgrade your seamoth.. and make it tier 2! Every tier should have it's own pros and cons, like a tier 1 submoth being just a weak bug (pun included) but being fast and agile, tier 2 makes it a little bit bigger (it probably wont be able to fit in some miniature caves) but stronger and being able to go to greater depths (i personally would want to be able to go to depth 1000 but not with just a little upgrade), tier 3 gives you more weapon options like harpoons (not the overpowered black hole gun) and tier 4 makes your seamoth a lot bigger (making it unable to be docked in the cyclops and moonpool, but having a lot of options like THE overpowered black hole gun and it's own room (it needs to be built in a bigger moonpool and yes, the moonpool should have it's own tier too... Final tier can probably upgrade cyclops maybe make similar submarines).

If i start writing more things, you will probably lose interest so I will say just one thing - My english is not perfect so I am sorry if I didn't say something correctly. Also, this is my opinion on how to make the game better but i don't mind critism so feel free to give YOUR opinion.

P.S.: currently the map is very limited. I would love to see a changing random generated world.

The Devs tried that before and it didn't work out well for them

The Seamoth can already get "tier 2" upgrades (up to 4) when you get a moonpool. UWE has already said they plan on giving the Cyclops similar upgradability.

P.S. There will likely not be any more subs or mini-subs before "1.0" release, as building of subs is just a part of the game - with exploration, survival, and science in the mix as well. However, they do have plans to add a "mech" for deep sea exploration soon.
