The dark biome (The Single Cell Landscape)

I was going through the concept art on the Subnautica wiki and found an interesting piece of art that I think would make a great biome for a future update.

With the new sonar feature regarding the seamoth update, I honestly think a biome like this would be a good change of pace for the game. Basically, it encompasses the idea of a biome consisting of a single entity (like so many threads have covered), but with an added challenge of total darkness (hence its name). It would be great to have a biome like this in some of the deeper areas of the game (i.e. 3,000+ metres) where sonar or night vision can serve as a way to navigate the area.

The concept art basically details a biome consisting of a single organism that "reacts violently to light." The organism basically looks like muck or tar. Maybe gooey plants and dark-skinned creatures could reside in the area? Besides, there's nothing more terrifying than not knowing what's around you, right?

What do you guys think?

I like the idea, but it seems a little excessive in my opinion. Plus, can we turn off the lights on our vehicles?

It's an alien world - everything is superfluous and extravagant. And the ability to turn on/off vehicle lights could be an extra feature for all vehicles in a future update.
