I am digging the prospects of even bigger, scarier things looking to eat us all. But at some point it WILL get ridiculous. So my idea was that there could be rare mutations of some species that occasionally spawn, from stalkers to sea dragon leviathans. These could have different colour schemes (albinos), be bigger, faster, angrier, or maybe even passive.
Then another point was: why does everything want us dead? So far the reefbacks are the only things of considerable size that doesn't try to eat us. Maybe have some leviathans that are passive? Aggressive herbivores notwithstanding, they could roam some grassy areas and potentially fight off an invading reaper leviathan or something.
