ok my idea is more biome on the ege of the map that porgestvle get deeper deeper and deeper at a point the subs we have will barly be able to cope with the defh and thats when you fragmints for a much much biger sub that holds the cyclops like it holed the seamoth because the monster get big then he reaper Leviathan like the spherphint i came up with witch is a 3 headed ele with two heads on the side (sorta like a hydra) with the senter head have teath long anuff to pirs the upper jaw and act like a bantering ram on to mention the eye is the size of the cyclops and about http://cdn1.arkive.org/media/27/27D4E377-37B2-411A-BB90-C88DA7582E75/Presentation.Large/Electric-eel-dorsal-view.jpg this big for a comparison just my ideas

That would be a very interesting ocean to explore!
I would prefer that the cyclops stays the biggest sub so that you have to be really careful around monsters like the sea emperor leviathan. But the game definitely needs more biomes at the edges (A second safeshallows would be nice too). How about the exosuit being the thing that can go deeper than any sub? You would have to go with so little titanium between you and the deadly depths which is filled with deadly critters into dark caves or open space. And there would be no sub right beside you for a quick escape...

The motivation to take that risk would be either some important technology like the terraforming or long range communication technology of the aurora (colonize or rescue ending implemented.). Or there would be some unique black smokers which can slowly produce infinite titanium, quartz and copper (but would be really dangerous to exploit because of heat seeking animals). Or some alien ruins with technology to terraform the planet ecofriendly...
