Seabases

After doing some pondering on this I came up with an idea for making the seabase in the future. I'm thinking that we should have to make a command center first in the base. This will control/monitor all other areas and facilities like the Moonpool, a generator room, farm, laboratory, lights, bulkheads, submarine locations, draining systems, recipes, logbook, base integrity, base efficiency, and anything else you can picture. Inside would be a monitor to control these systems and along the wall would be a fabricator. After that you can build on with corridors and then rooms, a moonpool, and a research center using fragments of these that you find. In the research center you'll have a specimen analyzer and an advanced fragment analyzer for more advanced fragments/blueprints like the Cyclops, Cyclops dock, farm, generator room, laboratory, Exosuit, Communications room, Cartography room, Teleportation room, etc.

What do you guys think of this and what would you add on to it?

I like all the little rooms you've described, but I think the command center should be more of a command module that can be put in any room (similar to the design of the fabricator). Farms would be a nice addition to the game, though I'm not sure if the number of edible creatures in each world is finite (if they are finite, then some form of farming/breeding needs to be implemented asap). But yeah, I agree that the command center should deal with the primary functions of the base (i.e. power consumption, irrigation, lighting, the opening/closing of bulkhead doors etc.).

Maybe the module could be like the Seamoth Upgrade Console and be only placeable on the walls of Rooms. That way we don't need a separate room for it. Yeah, that'll work. Maybe it'll be a fragment that we'll need to get somewhere like the Mushroom Forest or the Mushroom Caves.

I'd say the mushroom caves would be an appropriate place to collect the fragment from. And true, that would be a nice design for the module. I'm personally sick of running around my base, opening and closing doors in a tedious fashion. Not only that, I would like some rooms to have no lights on and a way to sort out future features of Subnautica from one location.
