[Bug] Attemping to place Foundation freezes Subnautica

Build 21956
Have builder equipped. Select Foundation, Freeze on the spot.
Done it twice, same way, same place.
The second I click on the Foundation piece in the builder's menu, it stops working and needs to be force closed.


Edit: Also had intermittent crashes while loading my game, and had two attempting to start a new game to begin with. Loads most of it up, and plays music and makes a splash as if i've entered water [all in the background, actual screen is still the loading screen] and if I click on it, it's not responding.

Edit2: Replicated it with the ladder this time around.

Edit3: Well shit, if i'm patient enough, it'll actually work and display the foundation. Changed to [Bug]

Perhaps it's a corrupt file in the main game or save game. Have you tried loading a different save game, or starting a new game to see if it does the same? Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing the game? I had a proplem with my fabricator taking 3 minutes or more to create even the most basic item. When I loaded a different save game it was fine, so I guessed its was a corruption in the save game file.

It actually has to do with how stuff loads. Basically all the building blueprints don't load until you try to place one of them. Then the game loads ALL of them.

How long is your hicup? I drop a few frames and get a hiccup.

There really hasn't been a serious optimization pass on the game yet so stuff like this is there.

I can't wait until this is done as I get so many "hiccups" when I am playing, particularly when moving fast, like in the Seamoth.
