Hi all just scratched some stuff cause I could not sleep
Hope u like them
U got a refinery that makes purified water and salt
And a turbo lift that you can add sections to just like the habitat pods that can take u up or down
The turbo lift will house one lift platform that will contain a key interface that adds "buttons" as you add sections to the lift tube the buttons will start in the middle of the panel and increase upwards or downwards depending on the sections u added (add a section above and a button appears above the first one...etc)

But I'd really prefer having a small tubelike turbolift, that can go vertical and horizontal and be a replacement for the standart horizontal and vertical tubes. For easy integration into the existing system and the ability to travel 200 meters deep from top station to abyss station in a single shaft. The turbolift as such should be turbo and living to its name, so it takes only a few seconds to travel 200 meters. The energy consumption should be high (50) for a single travel. The turbolift should be able to use the glass tube system. There should be vertical glass tubes in the game.
Optional: Maybe the round center section should be able to change a turbolift direction to travel in all possible directions. The round section should be able to adjust to vertical tubes. That might mean you'd be sitting in a glass sphere that uses the tubes horizontally and vertically.
I like it. Something kinda like the elevator from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I really like these ideas. The sketches aren't that bad.
It costs 2 titanium for a vertical tube, but 5 or 6 for a round room. If you build a tower base going down to the coral tree biome you might not be able to afford the resources.
I suggest a turbolift must be simply an addition to the tube system. Just like the ladder in a vertical shaft. Only that instead of a ladder you get a lift cabin. And you need more and different resources than a simple ladder. And of course power too.

So your turbolift section is as thick as a horizontal tube going vertical (without the horizontal connects)?
I mean what we need is a simple system that allows us to build about 200m vertical lines and instead using stairs, refitting the vertical tubes with a turbolift, travelling with a turbo speed of maybe 50m per second. Vertical tubes should also be reinforcable and connect to round roums.
(Right now using my 200m vertical ladder into the coral tree biome is like teleporting in zero time, so quite faster than a turbolift

I don't know if anyone wants a horizontal tube shuttle maybe even going through glass tubes (like in the logans run movie) or a horizontal turbolift (like in star trek). And I don't know what design would be best if ever wanted. But maybe the standart tube system parts including your turbolift vertical connector should be most universally used for transportation. And maybe even floodable on purpose to let fish travel through the underwater base.
EDIT2:
And maybe pipelines from a drilling station towards a refinery. If you find a concentration of certain resources that are big enough on a spot, so you can set up an automated harvesting station that pipes it output towards a refinery. Or the refinery can be outside the base and pipe its content towards the base. For example you could set up an air gathering station just around those air producing plants and than pipe the air towards your base station - otherwise you would need power and an oxygenator to fill your underwater station with air. (right now air in bases is free)
