I Love This Game

Hi

Just wanted to say hello to everybody and say a few words.

I have played this game for about 30 or so hours, and considering this is an Alpha/Beta/Early Release game it really is stunning. The graphics are awesome and there is so much to see and explore.
In my 30+ hours I have managed to do the following:

1. Build an underwater base in the mushroom forest area, some 190m below the surface with observation domes overlooking the forest.
2. Created a Cyclops submarine with Sea Moth docked within.
3. Have upgraded my air tanks to high capacity ones giving me a total of 405 seconds (what’s that? About 7 minutes, just shy of?)
4. I have created and inserted 4x hull integrity reinforcements into the upgrade area in the engine room of my Cyclops giving me a safe depth of 900m, and a hull crush of 1000m.
I have found an abyss beyond the mushroom forest. I have managed to get down to 2300m and still the bottom in nowhere in sight. I wanted to find the bottom and build a base down there >.<

My hopes for future instalments:

1. To be able to build a submarine capable of the descending to the bottom of the vast depths of the abyss.

2. More and larger creatures in the vast depths.

I have noticed a few bugs (non-game stoppers):

1. The Sea Moth does not recharge when docked in the Cyclops.

2. Not sure if this is a bug but if the Sea Moth is docked in the Cyclops and I take the Cyclops to a depth that the Sea Moth cannot cope with I get hull crush warnings. When I remove the Sea Moth the Cyclops can continue descending to 900m.

3. When I got to 800m I could hear a loud banging noise on the hull of my Cyclops. I looked out the windscreen and could see one of the hand held motor things (that you use to propel yourself along in the water). No idea where that came from. However, when I went outside the Cyclops to pick it up it was nowhere in sight. I got back into the Cyclops and again I could see it outside the craft. Strange!

4. Again, not sure if you can this as a bug but I get a lot of “juddering” of the graphics. I have a powerful computer: Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Extreme i7-3940XM (3.00GHz) 8MB; Memory (RAM) 32GB 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3; Graphics Card NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680M - 4.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11; Memory - 1st Hard Disk 750GB WD SCORPIO BLACK WD7500BPKT, SATA 3 Gb/s, 16MB; CACHE (7200 rpm) running on Windows 10. So I am sure it’s not because the computer is not up to the job.

I play on Freedom mode.

Here is a snap shot of inside my Cyclops and my stock organisation attempts >.<

    Great post.

#1 and #2 are known.. #3 sounds odd, next time grab a video if you can ;)

As for #4 it is definitely known, and is something I bring up often hehe.

    Hi IronHorse

Ah, errm... yes, please disregard "bug" 3. Turns out that the motor thing was actually inside my Cyclops in the windscreen bubble. I saw it again, leapt outside and this time I could see it. I swam up to it and tried to take it but couldn't. It appeared to be inside. So I went back inside approached the motor thing ... and picked it up. I have no idea how it got there. Oh well.

I like playing this game with my headphones on with the volume quite high. I was just swimming along some large areas of sandy sea bed when a huge roar made me almost soil my underwear. >.< THERE ARE MONSTERS OUT THERE!!!!! :D

Can't believe where the day has gone. I sat down to play this game at about 09:00 today just for "a little while". Next thing I know I just looked at my watch and it says 07:15PM. Where has the day gone! This game has me hooked
