What about a 'painter'?

Hey folk,

In subnautica we can already recolour the cyclops, but nothing else (yet/to my knowledge).
Assuming there are no technical limitations, wouldn't it be nice to have yet another tool?

A painter tool would be used to select a colour and paint various portions of modules (and more subs?).
It would either run on energy like everything else or need paint ingredients. (its for looks after all, so no real problem having us work for it a bit.)

Any ideas?

Kind of a cool idea, actually. Especially if I get to slap a custom logo on my completed seabase.

    I'm thinking way simpler:
    1. Chose your prefered color scheme in your PDA.
    2. Build recolored stuff with your builder.

Could also work I guess. It perhaps would be less of a hassle. :)

You can not easily recolour later on though.

being able to color the cyclops is nice, but I would prefer they spend their time working on game mechanics and developing tools to help with discovery and survival. A white repulsion cannon saves my hide just as well as a blue one or purple one will. Not having it all together would actually be concerning.
