Power on the Cyclops / Seamoth

Hello everyone,

Just a quick nip at the consumption of power the Cyclops and Seamoth have atm. I came back from a break of Subnautica and the additions are awesome so far, but the issue that kept me from exploring is still around: and that is that it isn't out of the ordinary to see the Cyclops' power drop by 4% within 10-20 seconds.

I know this is more or less a matter of opinion, but it takes away from the whole exploration feature if I am literally sitting at base not exploring because I don't want to get the many materials required to constantly restock the Cyclops / Seamoth with power

I know it's easy to find the resources guys, but it simply is BORING because I've done it countless times already.

Is anything going to be done about this? Or is this just not on anyone's radar?

thanks

I just dont understand how we can build super awesome solar panels on our bases, but we cant have an extension for atleast the cyclops to run it on solar energy, maybe that gets added someday.

I heard some time ago there was talk of making a dock for the Seamoth / cyclops to recharge it, but I haven't seen anything like that yet... that would be the best solution IMO.

On the experimental build currently the cyclops was swapped from a percentage model to a straight up value (600) with each power cell giving it 100 energy. So thats coming down the pipe, Also there are multiple generators in the works one of which alludes to energy collection, its not finished enough to play around with yet but implies the ability to essentially produce some sort of power cell by feeding nearby generators different fuels. (NOT confirmed mind you, only assumed.)

That's good-- I also like the actual number change, should be easier to feel a tempo so to speak (the percentage is a bit hard to estimate for me)

I'm considering going into experimental again just for fun to test that stuff lol
