Water glitching through into base?

OK, so I decided to start building a base in Subnautica, but didn't want to build underwater just yet, so I put the foundation on the highest spot near me which was pretty close the the surface, then I built my first corridor. Now here's the problem, when I had finished the corridor I went inside, and for some reason there was water, not leaked in because I haven't had any breaches and breaches don't happen THAT fast on the surface. 1/4th of the corridor is underwater (seen from the outside in outside picture, I've built extensions on the base also btw, still no breaches) http://imgur.com/TVMZ28t and the same level the water is outside it's inside http://imgur.com/6j1NIEV.

Is this a common bug, is this something that can be fixed? Is my save file corrupt forever? Do I just need to de-construct the base and rebuild it from scratch?
