Bug: Escape Pod within radiation zone

The second time I reset the game, after the Aurora exploded the escape pod was within the radiation zone and I couldn't enter it without taking damage. Granted, it could make for an interesting "hard mode" but for now I don't think I'm comfortable with the possibility that it could happen again.
