Balancing materials

This may concern mainly the experimental builds, but nevertheless is still important point for everyone with early access. Also, I have no clue as to proper order of working on video games developing. I'm just sharing a simple thought:

In the recent builds I noticed the new world layout the amount of materials start to vary drastically. There is still much of scrap metal in the starter area, quartz is in abundance at one time, in shortage another. Latest build seem to limit the number of limestone nodes.

While I understand balancing it out between gathering beeing too easy and gathering beeing a chore is important, I don't understand while it is done now, before everything using those materials (or at least most of those things? I got the feeling we still got much in store) is implemented. I may be missing something but when more building opportunities will arise, all this balancing will probably go in vain. Moreover, since some of the players (such as myself ^^') can't stand waiting for the more stable builds, we have to start over from time to time. It would make it immensly easier if, for now, the materials would be a little more easily acquired (from their respective biomes of course).

If the decreasing amount of materials is just my imagination, then this post is as boring as it's unnecessary.
