Game Crashes When Trying To Start A New Game

So i have just recently bought Subnautica, and finally found time to play it. but whenever i try to start a new game, it crashes before i can even do anything. i get no crash report, it just tells me it has stopped responding then it closes. im very upset cause i have been dying to play this. it does say my computer doesn't have enough GPU, but im not sure if this is the problem

if you are below the minimum spec bad things may happen.
