Outdoor Maps

<div class="IPBDescription">Jetpacks, Lerks and more.</div> Been playing with my map (ns_assault) a bit now it's coming along... yes, it has outdoor areas. Here are some fears allayed (or confirmed <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->


Lerks don't really work correctly. They can get up to an incredible speed across the plains, but tend to smack into a wall and then kill themselves with worldspawn. Serves em right.

Marines hovering around on infinite jetpack - well, no, they can hover ok, but the fuel tends to expend just getting them up to the top of the skybox... then all they can do is fall slowly, really.

Skulks have got plenty of cover to get to the marines (I'd be stupid not to <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Fades are their usual deadly selves, tho Onos are a little bit unsubtle. Suitable use of the NOBUILD entity should stop the commander turning the outdoors into a solid field of turrets.
