Weird arm glitch makes using containers impossible

I was swimming around with my seaglide looking for quarts when I was attacked by that weird cockroach looking thing! Luckily I managed to escape but not without getting stuck in a constant state of shielding my face. Now whenever I open my inventory or open a container my character holds the screen at a weird angle so I can't see it. It also makes it so if you switch to the seaglide inside your character will bring it up like you are under water and quickly put it away again and repeat this until you switch to a different item. I have tried going back into the water but it did nothing and I have also tried reporting it by pressing the f8 key but again it didn't work. This is very annoying please help.
