Suggestion for a boat
Imagine this

You are out for a cruise in subnautica to find some of that rare material you were looking for. You are on a boat about the size of a Battle Ship. You arrive at your destination at which point your board your Cyclops and make a forward base with storage some 100-200 meters down. Finally, you deploy your sea moth and go exploring for the materials you want. You head to your Cyclops, and than back to your boat, where you continue to explore on the surface.

Imagine how awesome it would be to have large boats as a base.

My idea, although formatted for a final release, is just made for speculation and hopefully showing the developers what a cool idea a Submarine Carrier boat would be.

It would be called an Aurorette
It would be roughly 1.5 times the length of a Reaper Leviathan and 2 times the height. It will have at it's widest point around 1.85 times wider than the Reaper Leviathan

It will have a Cyclops hangar will two SeaMoth hangars on the side. It will not supply power by itself, it will use power cells and power generators.

It will have an tow feature to salvage ruined vehicles (Anchor)

It will have 3 stories. The first one will have a naming station similar to the Cyclops and it will have a steering wheel. It would also have the power cells. Perhaps a Sonar for large objects beneath the ship. The second floor will be empty and be customizable by the builder. Any corridors built will appear to be surrounded by the ship so as to make it look coolor. Hull Stability is important and it may call the ship to sink.

The third story will be the hangar and will house 2 (technically 3 if ones in the Cyclops) seamoths and one cyclops. These will be acessable from the bottom and upon entering the ship will deploy them.

If the ship runs out of power it cannot move until a power generator is made or a powercell is replaced

Sea Emporer and other massive creatures will be able to capasize the ship, although it will not be instant.

Ship will emit a low frequency sound that can scare small fish and attract larger ones.

Ship cannot be salvaged by another ship if it sinks

Will require high level materials and probably salvaged parts from the Aurora

Will be relatively slow but will also be much harder to destroy than the Cyclops.

Will not be able to approach the Aurora. It will start to break down if it comes too near.

Hopefully Subnautica team reads this. Once again, this is just what I see a boat doing. This post was just made to hopefully inspire the team to implement something similar into the game.
