Random Gameplay Suggestions

So a buddy of mine and I have been going through this game like nobody's business. It's awesome and we love all of the aspects about it. However, we do have some suggestions to help improve the experience. I'll divide this up into sections:
Seabases:
-Add the ability to make Vertical Corridors and put ladders in them. This will help Seabases look a smoother rather than just stacking module after module. The current system makes it hard to use ladders one after another.
-Fix Ladder collision. We've found that you have to turn sideways in order to manage to squeeze past a ladder in the middle of a corridor.
-Add different types of modules. Blank Square Rooms, to other randomly designed rooms. Of course this is for a later time when you guys have got the rest of the game fleshed out but consider: Beds, Decorations, smaller aesthetic pieces you can add to kind of customize a seabase.
-Add a Docking platform or something similar to what the Cyclops has for the Seamoth, and something the Cyclops can dock with as well.
Wildlife/Game Mechanics
One thing We would absolutely love to see, after the addition of hopefully some larger/beefier submarines that can handle stronger pressure, is the addition of a Deep Ocean Biome.
At some point past 1500-2000m The lighting should behave somewhat like Caves, making it impossible to see anything but what's in front of your lights. With this in mind, the Deep Ocean Biome should be a place that seriously discourages players from just running around in. Adding Giant Bio-luminescent predators/creatures. Of course borrowing from creatures we have here in our own deep oceans, we think it would add a bit of thrill to the game.
Vehicles
Just a little side-note for when you do add multiplayer in the late future. We mulled over the idea of having a larger Sub that could support a crew of sorts. 3-4 people could man various stations on the sub. Like an Observation lab that uses cameras out on the hull to help detect/spot anything near the sub. This could also include a Sonar Mechanic. Another idea for one of the stations we had would possibly have arms on the Submarine so you could interact with large objects or capture wildlife and just generally interact with the environment.
One fun idea we had regarding the arms was that they could be used to construct some larger modules that could be attached to a seabase, like hydroponics lab/farm or something along those lines.
Anyway, this game has so much potential and I am absolutely looking forward to what's in store!
Also: As an avid scuba diver I have to admit that this game does scare me. You guys have nailed a lot of aspects of being underwater as an experience. Especially being in open water. I love it!
