<div class="IPBDescription">Adding soundtracks to Demos.</div> If I record a couple NS demos for Clan PR, anyone know how to add background music, or sound tracks to them?

    nocando. there are no half-life demo editors like there are for the quake series. that's why there isn't really any good machinima for HL...

    you can do it, but I think it's a bit of a pain. I've found a little info out there, but it's kinda old.

    I know it can be done because bds at geekboys.org did it, and made a movie that *almost* made me want to try CS again. =)

    well if its an an .avi or other actual video file, yeah background music is easy. but as far as putting it into the actual .dem, that's more work.

    That's true Doom, I didn't think about that.

    There are a few articles on machinima.com, but I they are overkill for what he is talking about doing here. But they do tell how to convert from .dem to .avi
