Firstly, this is not to encourage anyone to get this game for any machine which does not meet the minimum system requirements.
Secondly, I was just too impatient and took a gamble to see if by some chance I could run the game at a playable frame rate.
Fair enough, I am running at the lowest resolution of 800x600, but is is very smooth and more than playable and enjoyable. It does not come close to the higher HD resolutions but this will tide me over until my new machine arrives in a couple months.
I am running Subnautica on a Lenovo T420 ThinkPad laptop.
CPU: Intel Core i5 2520M @ 2.50GHz
RAM: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Integrated)
OS: Windows 7 Ent. 64bit SP1
