F8 broken, and localised lag

The only reason I'm using the forums is because the F8-report function spontaneously broke. I've used it twice so far without issue, yet today I'm simply told I'm not connect to the internet...despite being able to alt-Tab out of the game and report on the forums.

I've been aware of some very localised lag since I started playing. I'm not sure what's causing it. It's near - but not centred around - my seabase, and clears up very quickly once I'm out of the effected area. I'm beginning to suspect it's caused by the seamoth, which has now merged with my seabase and is both unboardable, and apparently the new centre of the lag-pocket.

With the exception of LOD lag, this pocket is the only lag I experience when playing.

EDIT: Reloaded the game, seamoth now entirely absent. Seamoth that had been docked inside cyclops also absent. Lag still present, still near my seabase.

A seamoth located a few minutes' swim from both seamoths' prior locations. Teleporting seamoths?

Secondary seamoth floating on surface above first. Teleportin seamoths.

Yeah sea moths and save games are broken in that build. The fix is currently enabled on the experimental branch so you can try to switch to that and see if the lag goes away.

How do you access the experimental version?

Right click on subnautica in your steam library, select properties, then click the betas tab simply pull down the drop down to experimental and you are living on the edge with the latest builds. there may be several a day.

Getting back works the same way.
