Future Perfect

I can't start Future Perfect. When I try it takes some time and eventually I get the error: "Couldn't create (null) render device".
Is there anything I can try?

(Mac Book pro, using vmware fusion).
(O yeah the forum search searches also ns2 forum, just so someone knows )

    That error means that D3D11 isn't available (adding a better error message right now).
