I think the tilt was the thing that was missing all the time in my attempts. I tried to make the change more visible by removing more from it, which looked like crap... Can't decide which one to pick though, probably fav4? Each looks better than the X i did anyways.
P.S. the reason in 2x screens the unwanted servers are on the top is: sorting does not apply for new servers that are loaded (partially fixed in the other package)
But i'll wait until SamusDroid does have some spare time to go through it before i change more things around.

@Grevas
Yea Fav4 was my favorite too (since fav3 looks like a "W")
Sideways definitely makes the clear distinction, especially as you click through the modes:
Favorite (heart), Blacklisted (Broken heart), Blank (neutral)

i would also make a suggestion of one thing:
Blacklisted servers have black text, instead of white, or yellow, or green, or whatever they would be normally.
reason: Some people have 4k monitors, and some people have large lo res monitors EG: LCD TV.
Sometimes you might accidently join a server you blacklisted, because the blacklist icon wasnt in your peripherals.
@AurOn2 i read your comment a few days back and i've had the same idea. I think changing the default-sort* (and fixing it, as i started) would suffice. I realise your suggestions actually supports my claim to keep the local-server-storage in one file. It would make such a change much easier... I'm still waiting for a response to some open questions about my implementation and i don't like to code for nothing. So'll wait until something like this is actually determined to be included, then i'm fine to do the coding for it
Not going to run for it any further with this feature myself without feedback
* which by default is "take em as they come", having it to be favs-sorted wouldn't change much.

Btw. i've considered adding an extra filter for "blacklisted" servers, but it seemed too niche to be in the main UI. I don't think it'd be that widespread used feature.
As a compromise, i'd suggest adding an advanced filter window. Basically implementing a rule-builder, which includes some server variables from the server stat & a check input. This would be still niche but atleast it would provide more value for most players. Somewhat in the direction of a "Rule -- Condition -- Value" setup. As an example, i don't like playing on servers with more then 18+ max players and i don't like to join servers with <2 players. In this case i'd also suggest an extra category (as in "Mod X Servers") which would show all filtered servers by advanced rules (still applying the default filters empty / full).
The setting might include also an Action flag like "hide", "mark as color" to be a little bit more customizable.
If it you guys think you'd like that in the game & the dev-community would like to include it, i'd spend some time on implementation. Of course, i'd be willing to redo the UI code to fit it, i don't think it can be done just as an addition - well, it can, but it would end up beeing a mess
Anyways, i'm also open for other suggestions. But please don't feel offended in case i dislike it, since i'm most likely not going to implement it myself (depending on the "what" i atleast still might adress it in a rewrite though, so you don't have to hold back!)
Some servers deserve to be outright banned. Anyone ever played on Hyperion (not the "new" one) when it's at capacity? Just awful, after 16-18 players the red plugs just get ridiculous. Of course the server has never in it's life had any admins on it to report the issue to. Had a really good game of Kodiak going last night but every time we rushed Surface everyone on both teams red plugged for 10-30 seconds. Made aliens lose because it's not like you can just phase back in and pick your lerk back up. Not that aliens would have won mind you, as in any good game the final outcome was uncertain, but it certainly didn't help.
Other than that I personally don't see a reason to spend CDT time on that feature given that the game only has a handful of servers going at any given time. Pretty easy to remember which servers suck imho.
Don't know if its the same one. But Hyperion was a decent server. Played it recently and its been a slideshow. But it was very good at one point. Maybe new server?
Sadly no updates yet. I stopped checking the forums since it's kinda slow, the files should be offline by now so if someone still needs them just write me a PM.
OT:
I'm pretty discuraged at this point to continue developing stuff 100% on my own, really need someone to check with*. (jumped on some open task just to discover later on it's not actually needed, not much time wasted thankfully)
Might change when i have some free time though. Just for the fun of it
* if development support from the community (random people in this case) is even wanted at this point
The way the vanilla and shine rs systems are done they do not kick any players at any time.
The only issue could be that two players connect at the same time but there is only 1 free slot left, so one fails to connect. But that can also happen to you on normal servers.
So sorry but could someone explain me the issue with the rs system?
some servers still use a reserved slot system where existing players are just outright kicked regardless of their score, how long they've been on it, or anything. its horrid.
The auto join system could use some work, by the way. It should be a server enforce queue instead of a dumb system where by the time the autojoin notices a slot has freed up it has already been filled 60 seconds ago.
Just a little poke here. I still have no updates so far

Seriously though, it's a minor feature, so i can see it beeing handled with very low priority.
However, i'm willing to redo the server-listing in case someone on the team is going to talk with me just to get the scope right (applying sorting order while refreshing the list comes to mind). It's one of my favorite games and i'd like to contribute if feasible
I can't package this sort of stuff into a mod really.
I checked the trello board, and the community development surely isn't dead. Well, the approval stack seems higher as the last time i checked, but oh well

(No, those are not my actual candidates, i clicked them together randomly)

And just a matter of taste.
