Anyone willing to go the extra mile and give the demosystem a massive overhaul by allowing players to play inside a playing demo while it's running and have the AI compensate for the player inside the demo? the bot could take numerous paths based on other demos of players on the same map and just "create a bot mind based on xyz position on map" i actually had this idea for HL1 and shared it with michael abrash in 2010 who forwarded it to tf2 devs nut thats all i heard from him it. thats before source film maker

another one is it possible to put a deathcam in game so you can watch the "x" amount of seconds leading up to your death, so just at the point of death where there's that transition from death>blackscreen>view point of team/enemy, you could have a feature where the demo/recording functionally played back the recorded x amount of seconds leading up to your death from your killers prospective ?

First we need a proper 1st person spectate. We've had a bug for a long time where if a spectator has high ping and spectates another player in first person, the player being spectated can experience some lag proportional to the spectators ping - iirc.

The spectator doesn't even need high ping. A spectator with low ping causes the same effect. I've experimented with a 50 ping player and a 50 ping spectator and the result is WARP WARP WARP.
