Alternate / direct payment methods

Something that greatly bothers me with many indie games is their reliance on paypal or similarly scummy amazon. Is there any chance to see different payment methods before steam early access ? Personally I would entrust Unknown Worlds with my credit card information , but I understand if you avoid the administrative distraction of directly handling purchases.

    There is Stripe but I think they go through Amazon payments not sure though.
