Alterra corp. Linking NS2 and SN

I'm not into the lore of NS2 so im really not sure what alterra corp is but i thought i'd point out this.

So in some maps in NS2 the logo for a company can be seen. Eclipse.Still003.jpg

Alterra corp is also from what i can see is the company that sent out the aroura to terraform subnautica's planet. (It would be really good to get an offical name for SN's planet now) The Alterra is seen on the swim-suit as well as the aroura

(I can't actually seem the Alterra corp logo on this one but the guys in the comments see it. So i'm putting it there)

So that's just some pictures to say that the two universe's might be connected!

I believe the name of the planet is Australis or something? It appears in the bottom right hand of the screen along side the date when you create a new game. Very fitting IMO, the great barrier reef was the first thing I thought of when I saw the concept art.

Australius is the build there on. So a few updates later it will change to some other sea trench/submarine

Alterra: The only Mega Corp. you need to satisfy all of your Exploration and Exploitation* needs!

*Most of the maps that reference Alterra in NS2 deal with mining, refining, and shipping natural resources.
