Nice work. I've seen lot of old (casual) players coming back. Dunno if it's sales, DLC or that you can actually find servers which is not full of godlike players. Maaaaaagnificent work!

or it's because many of the great players quit the game since whenever they last played, which is certainly going to be true.
I decided to buy rantology's skins & NS2: Combat because ;-
1. I think the skins look nice, good decent effort was put in, to me they fit into the NS2 universe nicely.
2. After playing the NS games since 2003 not-one-single-game has given me so much joy through my youth (25 now) than NS has except maybe the baldurs gate 1, 2 & Icewind dale series.
3. I decided for the price of the skins and NS2: Combat was very reasonable and believe me I'm not mr money bags but the basic old concept of saving wisely to buy what you want in life applied here thus enabling to buy both. I find people that complain about the price unreasonable. (Everybody wants something for nothing in life)
4. It was time to give something back to this community (All I ever remember paying for is the initial cost of NS2) even if its a small contribution that keeps it alive for bringing me so much joy, teamwork, newfound online pals, victories, frustration, losses and most importantly laughs for over 10 YEARS... A few bucks/quid is a TINY price to pay.
Long story short this game is incredible for the amount of hours or years you are able to get out of it, yes its not the easiest game in the world to master and it does have a steep learning curve but I feel thats what makes it so rewarding.
People who contribute to the survival of NS even after all these years amaze me as the amount of complaining & bitching that goes on throughout computer game forums is disgusting, many other game communities would have packed their bags and left their games to die a long time ago.
People who truly care about NS know how good this damn game is and refuse to let it die out.
Instead of asking people what they have done for the community you should be asking yourselves, what have YOU done?
So yeah, well done rantology for the new skins, I like them very much I would buy you a beer but it would be warm by the time it gets to you, the best I can do is give you a few quid for all those long hours you've put in, I for one appreciate your work so cheers mate and cheers CDT for the continuing hard effort you've poured in and your immovable constitution that doesn't succumb to all the whiners and non constructive complainers that dwell in their basements angry at life. Don't let them succeed.
Just bought the Reaper pack and having trouble with it.
Only the Fade and Lerk skins are showing in game. The rest just show as default. I have all my mods turned off and the Reaper skins deffo selected in the customisation screen.
